Well, after much gnashing of teeth and 10 lame attempts, I finally figured out how to install Wordpress to the server and then ended up spending even more time trying to decide on a layout design and way more time than that, browsing all the little “toys” that you can add to your site (note the Flickr feed at the bottom right- whee!). I’m still not all that satisfied with the colors and stuff but I should just hush up and be glad it’s workin’!
I must thank C. Bradley Dilger big-big for helping me get this puppy up and running- I don’t think I would’ve had the guts to even attempt it without his encouragement and reassurance that it wasn’t going to be all that hard to load. You can just call him the blog-whisperer. ;)
Anyways, I’m gonna try to wrangle all my miscellaneous blogs-n-stuff to this site over the next few weeks and see how it goes. Suppose this was as good a new year’s resolution as any.
