Woohoo!!! My new journal arrived yesterday from Etsy seller, Christine Renee. It’s even better than I thought it’d be. She even included a supa-sweet pin that says “I Have a Zombie Escape Plan” …rock. It’s always great to start out a new semester at work with a new notebook! wheeeee! ;D

woohoo!! ethernet card scored and installed (after 20 minutes of horrendous service & no luck at Best Buy and then a final & successful stop at Radio Shack) and we’re once again surfing the series of tubes at home… life is grand! new laptop on its way next week- i’ll be mobile soon…keep your kids outta the street! ;)

What a bummer- our new modem arrived in the mail yesterday (the last one got fried in the lightning storm last week) and I hooked everything up only to find that the surge killed the ethernet card in my ‘puter too…sigh. So our ‘internets’ at home are still broken. I’m going to the store tonight to see if I can get a replacement card and get things back up and running this weekend.
