Last night, I was thinking about my Manic Pixie Dream Girl post from December. Earlier in the day, I’d seen an article about a new movie, 500 Days of Summer, coming out this summer, that talked about Zooey Deschanel’s character being MPDG. I’m wondering if this will be true. It was hard to tell from the preview. Tim and I adore her and can’t wait to see this new movie!

So, that got me thinking once again (like I do- haha) about MPDG’s in other films I’ve seen. I wonder, in a darker light, whether or not Kate Winslet’s character, Clementine, in “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” would count as a MPDG? And if that’s the case, could the Marla Singer character in Fight Club count as one as well? :)
