What a crazy semester! Things are just now slowing down as our students finish up finals this week and start leaving town to go home for the holidays. We’re still SUPER-busy here in the library as we wrap up our projects and put others on hold to pick back up in January.

Eariler in the semester, I had problems with this site that I didn’t have time to deal with until recently, so I let things lapse here until I could get them fixed. In the next week I’ll try to post pictures and video of some of the fun events we hosted in the InfoCommons. It’s been a great semester. :D

Missing the boy this week. Can’t believe today marks a whole year without him. :(

Tim and I celebrated 10 gov’t sanctioned years (out of 19) back on June 12th. We went to St. Augustine for a day/night to celebrate and had a great time!

Probably the best part was spending most of the evening walking along the ocean around sunset! So pretty out there!

Anyway… 10 YEARS! AND you have to say it like Piven does here at :29 –

Well, I let posts at the ol’ blog here, dwindle into nothingness for the last several months. There was some kind of weird server issue that wouldn’t let me login through my wordpress login page. It’s happened before, I’m not sure if it’s some kind of hijacked site thing or just a WP glitch. My hosting company fixed it for me twice in the last year but I just haven’t had the time or will to get in touch with them again and try to get them to fix it for me- espec. since that usually requires several calls until I can get someone on the line who knows how to help. So the site has sat broken since April.

This afternoon, while Tim was teaching drumline out in Trenton, I took the time to upgrade to a newer version of WP and that seemed to clear up the issue. So whatever it was, is fixed now. :)

I try to catch up on a few posts later today but most of you can find me over on facebook these days.

Oops, guess the code in some of the embedded objects on my blog angered the Mozilla Gods. When the Accidental Environmentalist emailed me the other night to let me know my site was all jacked up, I thought she was talking about the weird permissions problem with the comments. Then this afternoon, I happened to pull up the site in Mozilla at the desk to show someone the picture of Boo Radley and saw how badly everything looked! Oops! I usually use Google Chrome so had no idea it was that bad. After fiddling around with everything turned out to be some code from some of the song widgets I posted a week or so ago. Sorry if things have looked wonky for the last coupla weeks.

It’s been so long since my last post that the Accidental Environmentalist told me that she was ready to send my blog to the Blog Graveyard. Hey, I’ve just been a little busy that’s all. ;)

I’m so freakin’ behind on posting anything substantial here on meh blag. Tons of things have happened the past coupla months and it’s just been so damned busy at work (and life!) that I’ve really only had enought time to flit around on facebook a little here and there. I’m even super behind on friend and family email too… I love you all though!! *muah, muah* I’m slowly getting caught up though! honest!!
