dreaming…

Darnit, the recurring “tornado” dreams are back again. In the past, they usually show up around times of pending change and/or upheaval in my life. sigh.

This particular dream took place in Texas and I was driving a minivan and heading East across the Main Street/I-35 Overpass in Lewisville. Rachel, Glenn, and Sammi were in the car with me. I looked over to my right and could see the huge tornado heading North, up the interstate, towards us, dust flying everywhere and blacking out signs of its destruction, skies dark and ominous with no rain. Once we got on the other side of the overpass we were (magically) down on A1A in Palm Beach, tornado was gone and we were off to do shopping at some warehouse storage space…in another state… weird.

It looked like one of these tornados:

damn tornado dreams! stressing me out! NOT cool subconscious! NOT cool at all! :P

I hate those dreams- they’re stressful. :P

weird dreams again…

Posted by Stacey on Thursday Jan 4, 2007 Under Dreams, Music

Had another weird dream again last night this morning…

I dreamt that Mark King and his family lived in our subdivision.  His wife was selling handmade stationery stuff out of their home (kinda like Avon or Mary Kay).  I dropped by to turn in my order (’cause you always feel bad not buying at least one thing) and Mark was sitting on the couch looking about as bored as Tim usually does by the end of a long day of work.  I started to ask his wife if she thought Mark would “fancy going out for a pint” with Tim- ’specially since it just seemed like something they’d both enjoy and I knew T was at home just as bored as Mark… then my alarm went off and it was time to wake up… :P Why in the world was I dreaming about Mark King, of all people??!

In real life, a few years ago in Texas, we were hanging out with Aaron at the casa and listening to the “Level Best” cd.  “Misty Hills” walked in said “Uh, look…I’m sorry you guys, but this is SOeffen lame!”  All three of us sheepishly looked at her and then Tim jumped up to put on something a little more appropriate for the 21st century. hahaha   :D

In case you don’t know who Mark King is…here he is playing with Mr. Pink…
