Eariler in the semester, I had problems with this site that I didn’t have time to deal with until recently, so I let things lapse here until I could get them fixed. In the next week I’ll try to post pictures and video of some of the fun events we hosted in the InfoCommons. It’s been a great semester. :D

Missing the boy this week. Can’t believe today marks a whole year without him. :(

We still miss her dearly.

Probably the best part was spending most of the evening walking along the ocean around sunset! So pretty out there!

Anyway… 10 YEARS! AND you have to say it like Piven does here at :29 –

Well, I let posts at the ol’ blog here, dwindle into nothingness for the last several months. There was some kind of weird server issue that wouldn’t let me login through my wordpress login page. It’s happened before, I’m not sure if it’s some kind of hijacked site thing or just a WP glitch. My hosting company fixed it for me twice in the last year but I just haven’t had the time or will to get in touch with them again and try to get them to fix it for me- espec. since that usually requires several calls until I can get someone on the line who knows how to help. So the site has sat broken since April.

This afternoon, while Tim was teaching drumline out in Trenton, I took the time to upgrade to a newer version of WP and that seemed to clear up the issue. So whatever it was, is fixed now. :)

I try to catch up on a few posts later today but most of you can find me over on facebook these days.

Meanwhile, I’ll leave you with this picture taken outside of our townhome. Little dude was hanging out in my window box of lettuce. I saw online that they eat bugs and lizards. Now I know why I hadn’t seen to many lizards around our door lately. Haven’t been too many bugs out their either. Too bad he doesn’t eat the squirrels who have been munching all the leaves off my Rose of Sharon! heh :P

I love, Love, LOVE this 21lb hunk of luuuuuvvve and look forward to following his daily adventures!

Our power went out last night early this morning around 2:00 ante meridiem. I heard a loud “pop” before everything that was running in the house powered down, including the HEPA filter in the room adjacent to our bedroom and T’s c-pap machine. It was SO quiet and REALLY dark. You don’t realize just how much light the power strips and alarm clock give off until they go out.

Worried that the new 9v battery backup I put in the alarm clock wouldn’t work and wake us up in time for work, I made Tim get up and stumble downstairs in the dark to get his cell phone so we could set its alarm as a backup.

I woke up again around 4:30 ante meridiem when the power returned. Kitten was so confused both times… “sweet! is it time to get up and play now? oh, no?? really?? you’re sure? well, okay… sigh”
